Accuracy International Monopod

Step 1:
Unthread the 2nd Stage a few turns so there will be movement up and down for fine tuning.

Step 2:
Loosen up the 1st Stage Cam by turning it clockwise or counter clockwise. Let it pop out until it contacts the surface below.

Step 3:
If more length is required, unscrew more of the threaded 2nd Stage.

Step 4:
Move the firearm up and down until close to point of aim and Cam Lock it into place.

Step 5:
Make sure that the Cam Lock is tight or it will come loose when making the threaded fine tune adjustments.

Step 6:
Use the threaded 2nd Stage to make the fine elevation adjustments.
* When using 0 - 1 recoil pad spacers, install the #15 Bolt (see parts list at top of page) in the lower recoil pad bolt hole.
* The Cam Lock Set Screw (#2) may need to be adjusted periodically. To adjust, find the center of the Cam by moving it counterclockwise until it stops in the up and down slot. Now turn the Set Screw in until it bottoms on the Cam and back it out 3/8 of a turn. If the Set Screw turns freely, you must reapply Red Loctite to the threads.
